The maintenance of the calorimeter is related to the accuracy of the experimental data, and it is crucial to master practical skills. As the core equipment for calorimeter measurement, long-term operation is prone to failures, and timely maintenance can ensure the smooth development of the work.

Daily maintenance is the basis for reducing failures. Before each use, be sure to clean the instrument shell and interior to prevent dust and debris from affecting heat dissipation and component operation. Regularly check whether the power cord and data cable are damaged and whether the connection is stable to avoid malfunctions caused by poor contact. At the same time, pay attention to the instrument heat dissipation port to ensure that there is no obstruction, ensure smooth heat dissipation and prolong the service life of the instrument.

Common fault troubleshooting and maintenance. If the calorimeter heats up abnormally, it may be that the heating element is aging or damaged, and the heating element of the same specification needs to be replaced in time; if the temperature display is inaccurate, there is a high probability that the temperature sensor is faulty, and the calibration or replacement of the sensor can be solved. If there is uneven stirring, check whether the stirring motor is stuck, whether the stirring paddle is deformed, clean the foreign body or replace the parts, and the stirring function can be restored.

The calibration process cannot be ignored. The calorimeter needs to be calibrated regularly to ensure the measurement accuracy. Use standard materials, operate according to the instrument instructions, compare the actual measured value with the standard value, and adjust the parameters through the calibration procedure if the deviation exceeds the allowable range to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the instrument measurement.



Component maintenance should be meticulous. For key components inside the instrument, such as oxygen bombs, inner cylinders, etc., regularly check the sealing. If air leaks are found, replace the sealing ring in time. Check whether the circuit board has virtual welding or short circuit phenomenon. If so, professional personnel are required to weld, troubleshoot and repair to avoid the expansion of the fault.

Mastering the maintenance skills of the calorimeter and doing a good job in daily maintenance and troubleshooting can not only ensure the accuracy of the experimental data, but also reduce the maintenance cost of the instrument, allowing the calorimeter to operate continuously and stably, providing strong support for the experimental work.
