Preparation before changing the water of the calorimeter

Before changing the water for the calorimeter, be sure to turn off the power of the instrument until the instrument is completely cooled to avoid burns caused by high temperature and prevent the risk of electric shock. Prepare clean distilled water or deionized water to ensure that the water quality is pure and avoid impurities affecting the measurement accuracy of the instrument. Also prepare clean rags, containers and other tools to keep the operating environment clean.
The specific steps of changing the water of the calorimeter
The first step is to find the location of the water tank of the calorimeter, usually at the bottom or side of the instrument. The location of different models is slightly different. Please refer to the instrument manual. Open the water injection or drain port of the water tank. If you need to drain, drain the old water into the prepared container, taking care to avoid spilling water.
The second step is to rinse the inner wall of the water tank with clean water after the old water is drained, remove the remaining scale and impurities, and drain the water after the rinsing is completed.
The third step is to slowly inject the prepared purified water into the water tank. When filling the water, pay attention to the water level scale to avoid the overflow or low water level affecting the operation of the instrument. The water injection amount is subject to the water level line marked on the water tank.
The fourth step is to carefully check the sealing of the water tank after the water injection is completed to ensure that the seal is good and prevent water leakage. Then, restore the instrument to its original state, connect the power supply, and turn it on to check whether the instrument is running normally.
Precautions after changing the water
After the water change is completed, it needs to be turned on and run for a period of time to observe whether the parameters of the instrument are normal. If there is any abnormality, check the cause in time. Regularly maintain the calorimeter and change the water regularly according to the requirements of the instrument manual to ensure the accuracy and stability of the instrument measurement and prolong the service life of the instrument.
