Preparation
Before changing the paper of the calorimeter, it is necessary to make preparations. Make sure that the calorimeter is turned off and the power is disconnected to avoid the risk of electric shock during operation. Prepare the special hot paper suitable for the calorimeter, and prepare a clean wipe cloth for cleaning the inside of the instrument.

Open the instrument and remove the old paper
Find the opening button or buckle of the calorimeter, and follow the instructions to carefully open the paper compartment cover of the instrument. After opening, carefully observe the installation method of the old paper. Generally, the old paper will have a fixed shaft or slot to fix. Gently release the fixing device and remove the old paper from the instrument smoothly. Be careful not to pull the wiring or parts inside the instrument during the process.
Clean the inside of the instrument
After taking out the old paper, carefully wipe the inside of the instrument paper compartment with a clean wipe cloth to remove residual paper scraps, dust and other impurities. When cleaning, be gentle to avoid scratching the inner wall of the instrument, ensure that the paper compartment is clean and free of foreign objects, and create good conditions for the installation of new paper.
Install new paper
Take out the new calorimeter paper and install it according to the steps opposite to taking out the old paper. Align one end of the new paper with the fixed shaft or card slot, and slowly and smoothly install the paper in place to ensure that the paper is firmly installed and will not be loose or skewed. After the installation is complete, gently pull the paper to check whether the installation is smooth and there is no card phenomenon.
Turn off the instrument and test
After confirming that the new paper is installed correctly, gently close the paper compartment cover to ensure that the cover is completely closed and there is no gap. Then, reconnect the power supply and turn on the calorimeter. Perform an no-load test first to observe whether the instrument is running normally and whether the paper delivery is smooth. If there is no abnormality in the test, the paper change operation is completed, and the calorimeter can be put into use normally.
Precautions
During the whole paper changing process, be sure to strictly follow the instructions of the calorimeter. The structure of different models of calorimeters may be different. When changing paper, avoid operating the instrument in a powered state to prevent electric shock. At the same time, the new paper must be selected with a model that matches the calorimeter, otherwise it may affect the measurement accuracy. If there is an abnormality in the instrument after changing paper, stop using it immediately and contact a professional for maintenance.
