Pre-boot preparation
Before using the microcomputer calorimeter, check the appearance of the device to ensure that no parts are loose or damaged, and the power cord is firmly connected. After turning on the power supply, turn on the instrument switch and wait for the device to complete the self-test to check whether the display screen is normal and whether the function buttons are sensitive. At the same time, prepare the matching sample crucible, ignition wire, oxygen cylinder and other consumables to ensure that the oxygen purity meets the requirements, generally more than 99.5%.
Sample precision processing
Take an appropriate amount of sample to be tested and use a high-precision balance to accurately weigh it. The quality of the sample should be strictly within the range specified in the instrument manual, usually between 0.8-1 grams, and the weighing error should be controlled within ± 0.1 milligram. Put the weighed sample evenly into the crucible, and fix the two ends of the ignition wire on the electrode with tweezers to ensure that the ignition wire is in full contact with the sample to avoid poor contact and ignition failure.

Enter the instrument operation interface and set relevant parameters according to the sample type and testing requirements, including combustion time, ignition temperature, oxygen pressure, etc. Oxygen pressure is generally set at 2.8-3 MPa to ensure that the sample can be fully burned. After setting, carefully check the parameters and save the settings after confirming that they are correct to avoid affecting the accuracy of the test results due to parameter errors.
Detection operation flow

Put the crucible filled with the sample into the oxygen bomb of the calorimeter, and tighten the oxygen bomb cover to ensure a good seal to prevent oxygen leakage. Close the protective door of the instrument and click the "Start Detection" button, and the instrument will automatically complete the process of oxygenation, ignition, and detection. During the inspection process, do not touch the instrument at will. After the inspection is over, the instrument will automatically display and store the test results and record relevant data.
Final work after inspection
After the test is completed, close the oxygen cylinder valve first. After the pressure in the oxygen bomb is released, open the oxygen bomb cover, take out the crucible and clean the residue. Turn off the power supply of the instrument, clean the surface of the instrument, and keep the equipment tidy. Regularly calibrate and maintain the instrument to ensure that the instrument is always in good working condition and ensure the accuracy of subsequent test data.
