calorimeter machine calibration operation strategy
Calorimeter is a core instrument for accurate measurement of heat, and its calibration operation is directly related to the accuracy of the detection results. It is essential to master the standardized calibration process.
First, the preparation work before the correction
Before calibration, make sure that the calorimeter is in a stable state and placed on a horizontal, vibration-free workbench to avoid large fluctuations in ambient temperature. At the same time, check that the power connection is stable and the various parts of the instrument are not damaged. In addition, prepare the necessary consumables for calibration such as standard benzoic acid, ignition wire, and oxygen cylinder to ensure that the consumables meet the instrument adaptation standards and lay a solid foundation for the calibration work.
Second, the core correction operation steps
1. Instrument parameter initialization: Turn on the calorimeter, enter the correction mode, first initialize the basic parameters of the instrument, and set the core parameters such as temperature and time according to the instrument manual to ensure that the instrument is in the initial state to be corrected.
2. Standard sample test: accurately weigh the specified quality of standard benzoic acid, put it into a burning dish, connect the ignition wire, and fill the oxygen bomb with enough oxygen. Put the oxygen bomb into the inner cylinder of the calorimeter, start the test program, and after the test is completed, record the measured calorific value displayed by the instrument.
3. Calibration value adjustment: Compare the known calorific value of standard benzoic acid with the measured calorific value of the instrument to calculate the difference between the two. Enter the instrument calibration interface, precisely adjust the calibration coefficient according to the difference, and conduct the standard sample test again after the adjustment is completed until the measured calorific value and the standard calorific value error are controlled within the specified range.
III. Verification and closure after correction

After the calibration is completed, the standard sample verification test needs to be carried out again, and the test is continuously tested 2-3 times to ensure the consistency and accuracy of each test result. After the test reaches the standard, turn off the instrument calibration mode and record the correction data, including the correction time, calibration coefficient, verification results, etc., for subsequent traceability. Finally, clean the instrument, properly store the correction consumables, and complete the entire calibration process.
Standardized implementation of the calibration operation of the calorimeter not only guarantees the measurement accuracy of the instrument, but also provides reliable data support for various types of heat detection work, helping to carry out the detection work efficiently.
