Basic cognition before temperature regulation of calorimeter

The calorimeter is the core equipment for accurately measuring the heat of a substance, and temperature adjustment is directly related to the accuracy of the test results. Before adjustment, it is necessary to clarify the instrument model and temperature adjustment range. Although the operation interface of different calorimeters is different, the core adjustment logic is connected, and at the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the instrument is in a stable power supply and horizontal placement state.

Step 1: Prepare for temperature calibration

Calibration is a prerequisite for accurate temperature regulation. Turn on the calorimeter to preheat for 15-20 minutes. After the instrument is stable, prepare standard calibration materials, such as benzoic acid with known calorific value. At the same time, check whether the instrument sensor is clean. If there is dust or stains, gently wipe it with a dust-free cloth to avoid affecting the temperature sensing accuracy.

Step 2: Enter the temperature adjustment interface

After turning on the power supply and turning it on, find the corresponding function entrances such as "temperature setting" and "calibration mode" through the instrument operation panel or touch screen, and enter the temperature adjustment interface. Some calorimeters need to enter the administrator password to enter the calibration mode. When operating, you need to strictly follow the instructions of the equipment manual to avoid accidentally touching other parameter settings.

Step 3: Execute the temperature calibration operation accurately

Put the standard calibration material into the measuring crucible of the calorimeter, close the furnace cover, and select the "Temperature Calibration" option on the interface to start the calibration procedure. The instrument will automatically collect temperature data and compare it with the standard value. If the deviation exceeds the allowable range, you need to adjust the temperature to the standard range gradually by adjusting the knob or entering the correction value according to the interface prompts.

Step 4: Verify the adjustment effect and save the parameters

After the calibration is completed, put in the reference material again for testing to see if the temperature display is stable and meets the standards. After confirming that it is correct, select "Save Parameters" on the interface to avoid loss of adjustment data after restart. In daily use, if the ambient temperature changes greatly, it is necessary to perform a monthly temperature calibration to ensure that the instrument is always in an accurate state.

Precautions for daily temperature regulation

During the adjustment process, it is strictly forbidden to switch the operation mode frequently to avoid the disorder of the instrument program. If the temperature is still unstable after adjustment, it is necessary to check whether the power supply voltage is stable, or contact a professional to check the sensor failure. Do not disassemble the core components of the instrument yourself to ensure the safety of operation and equipment life.
