calorimeter water temperature calibration is the core link to ensure the accuracy of measurement data. Standardized operation directly affects the accuracy of experimental results. The following is a detailed disassembly and calibration process for you.

Preparatory work before calibration

Before calibrating, it is necessary to prepare a special high-precision thermometer (with an accuracy of not less than 0.1 ° C), a constant temperature water bath, clean distilled water, and a matching container for the calorimeter. Heat the water bath to the target temperature in advance, let it stand for 30 minutes to ensure that the water temperature is stable, and check that the components of the calorimeter are connected normally and in standby state to avoid affecting the calibration progress due to equipment failure.

Core calibration operation steps

1. Accurate measurement of water temperature: Inject distilled water into a special container for the calorimeter, put it in a constant temperature water bath, and when the water temperature is consistent with the temperature of the water bath, measure the water temperature with a high-precision thermometer, record the measurement data three times, and take the average value as the actual water temperature to reduce the measurement error.

2. Parameter entry and calibration: Turn on the calorimeter, enter the calibration mode, accurately enter the measured actual water temperature into the equipment system, start the calibration procedure according to the requirements of the equipment manual, and wait for the equipment to automatically complete the parameter calibration. During the process, it is strictly forbidden to interrupt the operation of the equipment at will.

3. Repeat the verification operation: After completing a calibration, repeat the above steps for verification 2-3 times, and compare the results of each calibration. If the data deviation is within the allowable range, the calibration is qualified; if the deviation is too large, it is necessary to check the equipment failure or operation error, and re-start the calibration.

III. Precautions after calibration

After the calibration is completed, record the calibration data, time and environmental conditions in time, and establish a calibration file for subsequent traceability. Regularly calibrate auxiliary equipment such as thermometers and water baths to ensure that the accuracy of auxiliary tools is up to standard. If the calorimeter is idle for a long time, it is necessary to re-calibrate the water temperature before using it again to avoid measurement errors caused by changes in ambient temperature.

Mastering the standard calibration method of calorimeter water temperature can not only improve the reliability of measurement data, but also prolong the service life of the instrument. It is recommended to operate strictly according to the process to ensure the efficient development of experimental work.
