The calorimeter is the core equipment for accurately measuring the heat of substances, and the ventilation operation of the stirring system is crucial to the accuracy of the experimental results. Mastering the scientific ventilation method can effectively avoid the interference of gas residues and ensure the reliability of the detection data.

preparatory work

Before carrying out the ventilation operation, be sure to cut off the power supply of the calorimeter and wait for the equipment to cool completely to prevent the risk of electric shock or burns. Prepare suitable wrenches, clean sealing gaskets, anhydrous ethanol and dust-free cloth. At the same time, carefully read the equipment manual to clarify the gas path layout and interface specifications of the mixing device to avoid blind operation of damaged parts.

Ventilation core steps

1. Positioning the gas interface: Follow the connecting pipeline of the mixing device to accurately locate the air inlet and exhaust port. Most interfaces will be clearly marked, and some equipment needs to be removed from the protective shell to locate.

2. Disassemble the old pipeline and components: use a wrench to gently loosen the interface nut, and the action should be gentle to avoid deformation of the pipeline due to excessive force. Take out the old sealing gasket, dip it in anhydrous ethanol with a dust-free cloth, and thoroughly clean the oil and impurities at the interface to prevent residual contaminants from affecting the sealing effect.

3. Install new parts and pipelines: insert the new sealing gasket evenly into the interface groove, and slowly tighten the nut to ensure that the interface is tightly sealed and free of gas leakage. Connect the new gas pipelines in sequence according to the reverse order of disassembly to ensure that the pipeline connection is firm and free of looseness or distortion.

4. Exhaust and debugging: Connect the air source, open the exhaust valve, discharge the remaining air in the pipeline, and close the exhaust valve after the discharged gas is stable and uniform. Then power on the calorimeter, observe the running state of the stirring device, confirm that there is no abnormal noise, air leakage, and the stirring speed is stable, and the ventilation operation is completed.

Ventilation precautions

1. Component matching: The replacement sealing gasket and pipeline must match the equipment model exactly to avoid sealing failure due to non-compliance with specifications.

2. Operational standardization: During disassembly and installation, violent operation is strictly prohibited to prevent damage to the precision components of the mixing device and affect the performance of the equipment.

3. Follow-up inspection: After the ventilation is completed, an no-load test is required to verify the stability of the equipment and ensure that there are no gas leakage, abnormal stirring, etc., before it can be put into formal use.

Through the above standard process, the ventilation operation of the calorimeter stirring system can be completed efficiently, providing a solid foundation for experimental testing.
