Water change operation steps

1. Locate the drain port: The drain port of the Kaiyuan calorimeter is usually located at the bottom of the instrument. Look carefully at the structure of the instrument and find the interface with the drain mark.

2. Connect the drain pipe: Connect one end of the prepared drain pipe tightly to the drain port, and place the other end in a suitable drain container to ensure smooth drainage and no spillage.

3. Open the drain valve: use a wrench or directly open the drain valve manually to let the old water in the instrument drain slowly. During the drainage process, pay attention to the drainage speed and deal with any blockages in time.

4. Clean up the residual water: After the old water is drained, wipe the inside of the instrument with a clean rag to remove the residual water droplets and impurities to ensure that the inside is dry and clean.

5. Inject new water: Slowly inject the prepared distilled water or deionized water into the instrument through the water injection port until the water level reaches the specified scale. When injecting water, the action should be gentle to avoid bubbles affecting the measurement.

Inspection matters after changing the water

After the water change is completed, reconnect the power supply of the instrument and turn on the instrument for self-test. Observe the operating status of the instrument to check whether the water level is normal and whether there is any leakage. If everything is normal, a simple test can be carried out to ensure the stable performance of the instrument.
