Preparation

Before replacing the paper of the calorimeter, it is necessary to make full preparations. First, turn off the power of the calorimeter to ensure that the instrument is in a power-off state and avoid the risk of electric shock during operation. Prepare the special paper suitable for the calorimeter. Different models of calorimeters have strict requirements on the paper specifications, so be sure to check it correctly. At the same time, prepare clean gloves and tweezers to prevent stains or grease on the hands from contaminating the paper and affecting the measurement accuracy.

Disassemble old paper

Put on clean gloves and open the paper bin cover of the calorimeter. Different models of calorimeter paper bin have slightly different structures, but the disassembly principle is similar. Carefully observe the fixing method of the old paper, usually with buckle or tablet fixing. Use forceps to gently open the fixing device and carefully remove the old paper. Avoid pulling hard during the process to prevent damage to the internal parts of the instrument. After removing the old paper, check whether there are residual paper scraps or sundries in the paper bin. If so, clean it up with a soft bristle brush.

Install new paper

Remove the new paper from the package, taking care not to touch the measuring surface of the paper. Place the new paper correctly into the paper bin as directed in the calorimeter manual. Make sure the paper is flat and free of folds or skewers, then gently press the fixing device to hold the paper firmly in place. After the installation is complete, check again that the paper is installed in place to avoid loose paper during measurement due to poor installation.

Test and Validation

After installing the new paper, reconnect the power supply of the calorimeter. Conduct an air test or standard sample test to observe whether the instrument is running normally and whether the printing results are clear and accurate. If there is any abnormality during the test, such as paper jams, data deviations, etc., immediately turn off the power supply and re-check the installation of the paper. If necessary, read the manual or contact the manufacturer's technical staff for help.

Precautions

When replacing the paper, be sure to use the original factory or special paper that meets the specifications. Do not replace it at will, otherwise it may affect the measurement results. Handle it with care during operation to avoid colliding with the instrument. Regularly clean the paper compartment and keep the interior clean, which can prolong the service life of the instrument and ensure the stable measurement accuracy.
