If the equipment is used very frequently, or is exposed to high temperatures, humidity, dust, and other harsh environments for a long time, the measurement performance of the core components will decay faster. At this time, the verification cycle needs to be shortened, which can be adjusted to 6 months to ensure that the equipment is always in an accurate state.

II. Special factors affecting the verification cycle

In addition to regular usage scenarios, the following conditions will also affect the calibration cycle of the calorimeter:

1. After equipment maintenance: If the calorimeter goes through maintenance operations such as core component replacement and system upgrade, it must be applied for verification immediately after the maintenance is completed. Only after the verification is qualified can it be put back into use to avoid measurement deviation caused by maintenance.

2. When the measurement results are abnormal: If the calorimeter data is found to fluctuate widely, have poor repeatability, or deviate from the standard sample test results in daily testing, it should be stopped immediately and sent for inspection and calibration in time, without waiting for the original verification cycle.

3. Restart after long-term deactivation: The equipment has been deactivated for more than 3 months, and it needs to be verified before being reactivated to check for problems such as moisture and performance changes of components caused by long-term idleness.

III. The core content and qualification criteria of the verification

The calorimeter verification mainly focuses on three core indicators:

Temperature measurement accuracy: Verify the measurement error of the equipment on temperature, and control it within the allowable range specified in the regulations to ensure the accuracy of the basic data for heat calculation.

Repeatability: The same sample is tested multiple times, and the consistency of the results must be up to standard to ensure the stability of the test data.

Stability: During the continuous operation of the equipment, the fluctuation range of the metering performance must meet the requirements to avoid accuracy drift in long-term use.

IV. Verification management requirements that enterprises need to implement

Enterprises need to establish a complete calorimeter verification ledger, plan the verification time in advance, and avoid overdue use. At the same time, it is necessary to choose a qualified metrological verification agency to ensure that the verification results have legal effect. In addition, daily maintenance of equipment is required to keep the equipment clean, standardize the operation process, prolong the service life of the equipment, and reduce unnecessary verification frequency adjustments.

In short, the calibration period of the calorimeter is 1 year as the regular standard, and special circumstances need to be flexibly adjusted. Only by strictly implementing the verification requirements can enterprises ensure the measurement accuracy of the calorimeter and provide reliable data support for production and testing.
