The connection of the calorimeter to oxygen is the core link to ensure the accuracy of the experiment and the safety of the operation. The operation needs to strictly follow the specifications. The following are the detailed steps to help you quickly master:

Step 1: Check the oxygen source and pipeline status

First confirm that the oxygen cylinder pressure is sufficient, the pressure reducing valve is closed, and check the oxygen pipe connection to ensure that there is no aging, damage, or blockage. The pipeline interface needs to be clean and free of oil pollution to avoid impurities entering the calorimeter affecting the operation of the equipment.

Step 2: Find the oxygen interface of the calorimeter

The position of the oxygen interface of different models of calorimeters is slightly different. Generally, on the side or back of the device, the interface will be marked with the "oxygen" and "O ²" logo. After finding the interface, check whether the interface sealing gasket is in good condition. If there is aging or deformation, it needs to be replaced in time to prevent oxygen leakage.

Step 3: Correctly connect the oxygen pipeline

Connect one end of the oxygen pipe line to the outlet of the oxygen cylinder pressure reducing valve, and tighten the interface with a wrench to avoid damage to the thread; align the other end with the oxygen interface of the calorimeter, insert it slowly, and tighten it clockwise with a special wrench to ensure that the interface is firmly connected without the risk of loosening or air leakage.

Step 4: Conduct stress testing and debugging

Slowly open the oxygen cylinder valve, observe the pressure gauge of the pressure reducing valve, and adjust the pressure to the specified range of the calorimeter (usually 0.2-0 MPa, refer to the equipment manual for details). Then check the interfaces of the pipeline and smear the interfaces with soapy water. If there are no bubbles, it means that the connection is qualified. If there are bubbles, the interface needs to be tightened again.

Step 5: Boot to verify the connection effect

Turn on the calorimeter, enter the oxygen supply test mode, observe whether the oxygen flow of the equipment is normal, and start the experiment after stable operation. After the experiment, close the oxygen cylinder valve first, close the pressure reducing valve after the pipeline pressure returns to zero, and then turn off the power supply of the calorimeter to ensure safe operation.

Attention: Keep away from the fire source and maintain ventilation throughout the operation. If there are any problems such as air leakage or abnormal pressure, stop the operation immediately, and continue after troubleshooting to ensure the safety and accuracy of the experiment data.
