Determination of the calorific value of industrial hazardous waste/solid waste combustion How to detect the calorific value of solid waste?

There are three methods for testing the calorific value of solids and hazardous/waste:

Solid, hazardous/waste can be directly measured using an oxygen bomb calorimeter, or calculated according to the components or elemental compositions of the waste. The specific methods are as follows:

① Instrument measurement method. Measure with calorific value testing equipment. When the waste is heated under aerobic conditions until the water temperature around the oxygen bomb no longer rises, the heat added by the fixed volume of water at this time is the heat released by the quantitative waste combustion.

② Theoretical estimation method. The calorific value of solid waste is chemically called "heat of combustion", so the HH or HL of the waste can be theoretically estimated using elemental compositions (e.g. carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc.).

③ Elemental composition calculation method. There are many ways to calculate the calorific value of waste using elemental composition, the most common and simple is the Dulong formula, but because the error of this method in estimating the calorific value of waste is too large, the industry often uses the Wilson formula for estimation.

The above three methods, the instrument measurement method is accurate, that is, the use of special solid waste calorific value testing equipment for detection, the results are accurate and reliable.
